An evening at Sanjo Machi

where is that place..hmm..kawasan rumah kami jer..hehe..2 months plus here but we never look around at our surrounding. Not really an evening actually we just went for a 30 mins walk maybe.. its sunday and instead of studying both of us bermalas-malasan and my love suggested that we go out for a walk to look around for any potential house to rent later in October since we can only stay at kaikan until September. There's another international house about 5-7 mins walking distance. It is more expensive than our kaikan but still cheaper than normal house. To get in there we must apply 4 months in advance and interview. Huhu sounds difficult. The road in this area is very small..memang tabik spring kat bus driver coz boleh bawa bas dgn jayanya di lorong yang chumel ini..he..nothing interesting just houses and graveyard..but there's one signboard which makes us wonder..what kind of translation is this..my love took the picture of it..i think it is a very direct translation from katakana form..katakana is for words not originated from Japan..here are a few examples..
supekkuturo means spectro
imejinggu means imaging
burakku means black

kewl signboard

the labels try to say its an accident area..but in katakana they say it akoshiden so i guess they spell it out from katakana..hehe..funny huh..and cute too..we just took several pictures coz i'm so cold since i didnt wear my down and i want to go home quickly...

my love..tgh tgk iklan kete or stuff yang berpatutan yang berpotensi untuk dibeli

Shark...

in the rain..opps..snow..

This cut and paste info was forwarded from my love via yahoo mail...to those who haven't read this..enjoy this piece of motivational story...

"The Japanese have always loved fresh fish. But the water close to Japan has not held many fish for decades. So to feed the Japanese population, fishing boats got bigger and went further than ever. The further the fishermen went, the longer it took to bring the fish. If the return trip took more time, the fish were not fresh. To solve this problem, fish companies installed freezers on their boats. They would catch the fish and freeze them at sea. Freezers allowed the boats to go further and stay longer. However, the Japanese could taste the difference between fresh and frozen fish. And they did not like the taste of frozen fish. The frozen fish brought a lower price. So, fishing companies installed fish tanks. They would catch the fish and stuff them in the tanks, fin to fin. After a little thrashing around, they were tired, dull, and lost their fresh-fish taste. The fishing industry faced an impending crisis! But today, they get fresh-tasting fish to Japan .How did they manage? To keep the fish tasting fresh, the Japanese fishing companies still put the fish in the tanks but with a small shark. The fish are challenged and hence are constantly on the move. The challenge they
face keeps them alive and fresh!Have you realized that some of us are also living in a pond but most of the time tired and dull ? Basically in our lives, sharks are new challenges to keep us active. If you are steadily conquering challenges, you are happy. Your challenges keep you energized. Don't create success and revel in it in a state of inertia. You have the resources, skills and abilities to make a difference. Put a shark in your tank and see how far you can really go!"

These few days my love and i keep telling this and telling that..not a complaint but sort of comparison regarding...our phd study seems to be very difficult yet this is only the beginning. I have to study lots of things..biochemistry, amino acid, STM, vibrational, etc, all of these subjects are totally unfamiliar for me..plus i need to produce good result which means good labwork skill with sufficient knowledge. The syllabus for undergrad student of foreign univ and Malaysian univ are totally different. Their basic are so so strong...So does my love..he will tell his part which involves lots of presentation and every single thing have to be detailed sehingga ke akar umbi..and he also agrees that its a totally different environment of study here,..the next day we continue our mission as usual as well as hoping to obtain better knowledge and finish our study on time. While on the bus on our way home..last night..we didnt even talk about our daily routine yet talking about this piece of story..my love buat ulasan yang sangat panjang lebar about this email. Tapi dipendekkan sket due to limited time. The email really open up his mind..made us realise...why are we eager to go out and study outside because seing other people obtain a good knowledge and yet a good experience. We should feel lucky that Malaysian government made such fund to support our study..erm..why? to open up mind to face new challenges so that we will feel stronger. Quoted from love... "Mcm dulu..life kat umt, pergi keje balik keje..wiken rehat, rileks..yep its good tapi kita di takuk tu tak berkembang. So we should feel grateful to get this chance to change our life plus to improve knowledge. Put it this way this challenges are the sharks that will make us keep on going and work hard." My love kalau bab2 bagi kat dia la hehe..it's true plus i do need the encouragement. Sometime i will feel down and told myself..why i couldnt get this one, why i didnt understand this..why i never took this subject during undergrad..will i ever make it on time..and lots of why..just keep on trying and Allah maha adil..somehow somewhere we must believe that we will get the reward sooner or later..tak gitu Miss Sa..asik miss sa ajer..yg len jgn la jeles hehe..so guys..dont give up and keep up the good work and all the best...may everything we do will be blessed...
I also enclose several pictures from my lab..its getting colder here..tak tahan rasanya..huu..I would also like to wish happy birthday to mother to be Puan CC a.k.a Ikin comot...hehe..and congrats to Alice and hubby..yg baru memulakan kehidupan somewhere near to NY huu i forgot the place..sowi..hopefully everything is ok over there..dont to forget to update really eager to see your surrounding over there..and then..ha..jeles tgk menu2 miss sa.. sodap eh..terliur den..pastu tgk dia shopping sakan waa beshnya..and those cute boots..owh my...plus branded plak tu...i envy u dear.. in a good way..fashion manner ok..hehe..till then...

Welcome 1430H and 2009...

Hikari (light) pageant 2008

Unbelievable..its already 2009..macam tu la..setiap kali tahun baru muncul..rasa sekejap jer waktu berlalu..ada yang nekad dengan azam baru..ada yang bring forward azam yang belum tertunai..ada jugak yang macam biasa jer..takde perubahan..dan macam2 lagi la..whatever it is life must go on..keep on doing whatever you are doing and it is a bonus if you can make it better..or achieve something extreme..and i'm sure everybody want the best in their life..
serunutss..baca coretan Miss Sa..dan sangat chumel bunny wabbit di kepalanya itu hehe.. as for me and love..we just stay at home during new year's eve..and on new year we went out to post new year cards to our sensei. Masa hijrah hari tu ada wanita jepun memeluk Islam..terkejut dan gembira bila dapat berita tu..bertambah lagi seorang saudara Islam. We went to Masjid Sendai to see her lafaz dua kalimah yang agung..nampak masih muda..sebelum tu ada sedikit ceramah dan video mengenai Islam and she watched the video dengan khusyuk..i saw her eyes turn red and filled with tears...seolah2 menusuk perasaan..i'm surprised..first time tgk mualaf yang baru masuk Islam depan mata...
my next story is Hikari pageant at sendai..boleh dikatakan popular la..semua org jepun di sendai akan menanti-nantikan saat ini. Kalau di Kota Bharu ia dipanggil lampu berhias hehe..masa ulang tahun sultan kelantan..kalau kat sini its a winter event anually..from christmas until end of december..biasa my love and i tgk dari dalam bas..tapi on the way balik from kampus hari tu i decided to drop by and look around and of course snap some pictures..hehe..ramai sungguh rakyat jelata..nak jalan pun susah..tiap2 hari penuh manusia di sekitar Jozenji Dori tu..huu tapi alang2 sampai meredah lautan manusia..kami mengambil peluang menikmati pemandangan lampu tu he..

The next day snow makin lebat and tebal..kebetulan nak keluar rumah to buy some new year postcards..apa lagi alang2 on the way tunggu bas..snap some more pictures..our juniors told us that sepanjang 3-4 years they live here..tak pernah snow turun 3 hari berturut2 kat sendai ni..usually just one day and the next day it will dry as susual...no wonder..las week on the way to campus i saw this big plastic bag sort of plastic beras 1o kg..rupa-rupanya garam...they standby the packet by the roadside so bila snow they will pour it on the road to make the snow melts faster..anyway sadly i have to stop now.. my class will start in 3 mins....otsukaresamadesu..
